Black History Month — 50 Figures in 50 Different Art Styles

For Black History Month 2022, the art team set themselves a challenge: a different historical figure every day, in a completely different art style. Pop art, painterly portrait, ink wash, woodblock, cel shading, midcentury poster — fifty in a row, no two alike. The finished collection lived inside the game’s art museum, where players could wander past each piece in turn.

Created by the Immersed Games art team for Black History Month 2022. Each piece took a different visual approach — a chance to push our craft and celebrate the breadth of art itself. We dropped them into Tyto’s in-game art museum so players could wander past them.
